• Confirm date & time, wedding style & budget
• Decide on Church or venue for ceremony
• Choose reception venue/catering
• Make bookings & pay deposits
• Buy/Order Wedding dress & accessories eg. Shoes, jewellery, underwear
• Arrange appointment with Minister/celebrant
• Draw up tentative guest list
• Choose bridesmaids, best man & other attendants
• Arrange wedding rings
• Book music or entertainment
• Book photographer & videographer
• Book Florist
• Book Wedding Cars/transport
• Book Wedding Night Accommodations
• Start planning your honeymoon & make travel arrangements, organise passports, visas
• Book Wedding Cake

Six months ahead

• Finalise guest list
• Choose bridesmaids’ dresses
• Select outfits for groom and his party
• Order invitations, place cards and any other stationery
• Select Wedding menu or organise food & beverages with caterer
• Make appointment with hairdresser for bridal party – rehearsal and wedding day
• Arrange hire for rental of all necessary equipment eg. Chair covers, table decorations
• Confirm and pay deposits for Honeymoon
• Prepare bridal gift register, Book Wishing Well/Treasure Chest Hire or organise honeymoon account with Travel Agent

Three months ahead

• Complete Marriage paperwork
• Finalise Invitations
• Choose gifts for wedding guests, attendants, bridal party, parents etc
• Choose accessories eg. Garter, ring cushion, cake knife, guest book etc
• Book makeup
• Book beautician – facial, nails, waxing etc

Two months ahead

• Post Invitations
• Plan pre-wedding parties – hens night, bucks night, kitchen tea
• Finalise rehearsal arrangements
• Schedule final dress and suit fittings for bridal party
• Arrange seating for reception

Four weeks ahead

• Confirm guest list and give final numbers and seating arrangement to your reception venue/caterer & stationer
• Reconfirm all details with the florist, photographer, car hire, musicians and any other service providers you’ll need on the day
• Collect Wedding Rings

One week ahead

• Hold wedding rehearsal
• Have speeches prepared
• Double check bridal party’s outfits for correct fit
• Pack for honeymoon
• Clean your Engagement Ring
• Collect wedding guest gifts, place cards, hire items etc
• Organise someone to return hire clothes & equipment
• Confirm Wedding Night Accommodation
• Confirm Honeymoon Arrangements

Day Before

• Lay out everything you will require on your Wedding Day
• Confirm time flowers are arriving
• Confirm hair, make-up times
• Have nails manicured
• Confirm all members of wedding party are organised
• Eat
• Relax
